Overview
BasaFinder is a rental housing platform that connects landlords, tenants and administrators. Landlords publish rental listings, tenants search and request them, landlords approve or reject each request, and approved tenants pay rent online. An admin oversees users and listings.
- Problem
- Finding a rental home in Bangladesh often means travelling to each property just to look at it. If the place does not match what was advertised, the trip is wasted and the search starts again at the next address, so every miss costs transport money and time. Tenants also have little information and no direct line to the landlord before they commit to a visit.
- Solution
- BasaFinder puts landlords and tenants on one platform. Tenants check listing details and send a rental request with a message before travelling anywhere. The landlord reviews the request and, on approval, shares a contact number that the tenant then sees. Approved requests move to online rent payment, so the whole path from search to payment follows one tracked workflow.
Key features
- Landlords create, edit and delete rental listings with location, rent, bedrooms, images and amenities
- Tenants search and filter listings by location, price and number of bedrooms
- Tenants send rental requests with an optional message; duplicate pending or approved requests for the same listing are rejected
- Landlords approve or reject requests for their own listings
- Approved tenants pay rent online through the ShurjoPay gateway and can review their payment history
- Separate role-based dashboards for admins, landlords and tenants
- Admins manage users (block, activate, change roles) and review or remove listings
